I've just added the Environmental Working Group's Cosmetic Databaseto my list of resources. If you're concerned about what's in the products you slather on your biggest organ every day, this is a great resource. It lists toxicity and health concerns for each ingredient, and rates the product. The government does not currently regulate personal care products, and manufacturers do not have any oversight outside of their industry.
Unfortunately, Biofreeze (which I sell) does NOT have a good score. |

I just set up a business page on facebook, where I'll post special offers and deals.
I have amazing friends, by the way. I needed 25 fans to claim a username for my page - I asked them for help and in under an hour had my name pinned down. Thank you so much! You rock.

I just signed a petition asking Gov. Schwarzenegger to veto AB 1822,
which is an anti-prostitution bill. The bill asks that MT
certification be taken away from the California Massage Therapy Council
(CAMTC) and given back to local law enforcement. After much
opposition, a "compromise" was floated that would keep certification
with the CAMTC, but requires two law enforcement positions on their
board. This is ridiculous: no other health care professions require
police babysitting. |
