Really nice article by Belleruth recalling how guided imagery went from "unmitigated fruitloopery" (hee) to "a respectable, recommended mind-body therapy" in the oncology field.

I moved to Somerville last month after working as a massage therapist in Chicago for seven years.  I'm excited to make a new life and build a new business here. 

Once I receive my license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, I'll be able to do what I love - bodywork.  In the meantime, I hope to provide some interesting and useful things through this blog. 

I'll be putting a cancer outreach program into place in the coming months.  I lost my Dad to cancer in 2006 and want to do my part - a small part - to ease the experience of this disease for others.
